Sawubona means: I see you.
Not just your face. You.

The Invitation

Some journeys take you somewhere new.
This one brings you a little closer to yourself.

From 13 to 20 November 2026, Emily and Astrid invite you to South Africa. Seven nights, two houses, twelve women.

A week designed to slow down, reconnect and be inspired. Personal growth, movement, wellness, meaningful conversations and plenty of pleasure.

Think beautiful places, great food, new connections, unforgettable experiences and a little more space to listen to yourself.

A place to explore, recharge, connect and simply enjoy the moment.

Chapter One · A Private House Near Yzerfontein

West Coast

Space · Silence · Ocean

We begin outside the city, surrounded by nature and open space. Slow mornings, movement, ocean air, long conversations and time to arrive fully.

Chapter Two · A Private House In Cape Town

Cape Town

Culture · Colour · Connection

We then move into the energy of Cape Town: creative places, local women, food, markets, sunset drinks, inspiring encounters and nights that are allowed to linger.

The Experience

This is not a regular retreat.
It is an experience.

No strict schedules. No forced silence. No one telling you how to feel. Sawubona is a week with inspiring women who are honest about what they want, what they carry and where they are going. Women who show up as they are and leave a little more themselves.

You do not have to run a company to belong here. You only have to be willing to invest in yourself.

Who It Is For

Come as you are.

Women in their thirties, forties and fifties. Entrepreneurs, leaders, creatives and women moving between chapters. For those who give a lot, carry a lot and are ready to make space for themselves.

Most guests come alone. Nobody needs to arrive knowing anyone.

Created with women at heart, for women.

ELEVEN

Founder of Eleven, a community for women who want to grow — in their work, in their body and in the way they look at themselves. A hospitality guru at heart, she reads a room in seconds and knows exactly who should be sitting next to whom. In Cape Town she makes sure nobody leaves without the connections they came for.

Two women, two worlds, one shared belief: that women grow faster, softer and further when they do it together.
